Jo Anna C. Parker is a founding member with the firm and a native of Phenix City, Alabama. She graduated from The University of Alabama in 1995. She graduated from Troy University with a Master’s Degree in 1997. She earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2003 from Faulkner University, Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. In law school she was elected Second Year Senator, published in the Jones Law Review, and first in class in Wills, Trusts, and Decedent’s Estates.

Jo Anna devotes her practice primarily to family law, including all aspects of divorce, alimony, custody, child support, and divorce modification cases. She has 15 years of litigation experience. In her career she has represented hundreds of clients in Family Court, Circuit Court, District Court, Juvenile Court, and Probate Court. She is a state certified Guardian Ad Litem and serves on numerous Domestic Relations cases in this capacity. A Guardian Ad Litem is an attorney charged with representing the rights, interests, welfare, and well-being of a child.

Jo Anna is a member of the Alabama Bar Association, the Russell County Bar Association as well as the Women’s Section of the Russell County Bar Association.

Prior to her solo practice, Jo Anna served as law clerk for Honorable Richard D. Lane, Family Court Judge, Lee County, Alabama.
